Didn't know what to use pipe cleaners for initially, so made some flowers. However, they don't really fit the punk rock theme.
Box Building
Wanted a box that was like a spotlight stage to give more depth to the final image instead of it being flat against the backdrop.
Felting Inspiration
My initial idea was to create mouths and eyes out of felting. I liked the idea of the juxtaposition between the softness of wool and the harshness of the punk rock style.
First Trial
These were basic experiments to get me back into the method and experiment with colour options. I did start to doubt whether I would be able to create what I had envisioned here.
I kept going with different designs and became quite happy with how they were turning out.

Alternatives
Alternative materials for the ideas. I don't think any are as successful as the felting. The cardboard skull is something I can fall back on if the felting variation doesn't work. Gives me an insight into how the composition will work together.
Final Felt Creations
Photography Trials
I got a camera from AV and did some trial shots of how I'd want the compositions to work for each cover. This was simply to experiment and get used to different settings but I definitely want to take this into one of the photography studios to ensure better lighting and overall setup.
Edits
I did some basic lighting adjustments for the photos I'd taken in the studio. I think when lit properly, they have the potential to turn out how I want them.
First Mockups
Looking at this after taking the photograph, it's lost the vision of ribs and looks more like spiders legs. I've removed the bottom parts that were looking weak and lost in the hopes this gets it back to looking like what it's supposed to be.
I created some mockups of how I envisioned the album and singles to look when including the logo and name. When reflecting back on them, I didn't like that they appeared flat and almost 2D, losing the impact of the creations themselves. I'm hoping going into the photography studio will help get the image I want when I take more consideration into depth of field and which objects are in focus.
