The Brief:
Assemble some data about a subject of choice and devise an infographic which presents it in an engaging and informative way for an inquisitive and intelligent audience ages 18+

Final outcomes to include a flat infographic developed into an animated piece.

Types of Infographics

www.spielcreative.com/blog/animated-infographics/
Maps - For data intrinsically linked to a geographical location, using maps to visualise it is the most effective method
Process or How-to - Directional cues take the viewer through a series of instructional steps
Exploded View - Each component of a product is separated in the order of assembly to get to the core of how it works
Comparisons - Two or more similar, or dissimilar, things are compared side by side to highlight their distinctions
Interactive - The viewer can interact with the animated infographic by clicking on various components for a closer look or to influence the content in some way
Data Visualisation - In-depth information can easily be communicated with Venn diagrams, pie and bar charts, line graphs
Kinetic Typography - For infographic videos especially, animated visual text conveys more abstract information
Timeline - A chronological visualisation of how something has changed or evolved over a certain time period
Hierarchy - Various components making up a single subject are arranged in order of importance
Informational or List - Text-heavy rather than number-heavy, ordered lists hold people's attention

Feedback

After discussing what I had currently produced, it was agreed that while I had made a nice looking poster, it didn't meet the criteria of an infographic. I need to go back to my initial thumbnails and ideas to develop this further.

Made some icons for each of their album and had the idea of representing the number of each one by physically repeating them over and over.

Couldn't find a layout I was happy with so ignored this idea for a bit.
